A marvellous, bright view of Schloss Hof seen from the front of the garden, by Bernardo Bellotto. Dominating the scene are the great fountain and the splendid Italian-style gardens, beautifully kept and tended, while in the background is the marvellous palace of Schloss Hof. The day is clear and serene. The picture, an oil on canvas, is undated and has other similar versions with variations in colour.
The painting is on display at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria.
