Hadrian (76-138 BC) was Roman emperor from 117 to 138. Born to a Spanish-Italian family, he is known throughout the world in history for the construction of Hadrian's Wall which marked the limit of northern Britain, the reconstruction of the Pantheon and the construction of the Temple of Venus in Rome. He is also a famous representative of humanism.
