Original and rare 18th-century view of the Feast of San Rocco in Venice, painted by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto. In the foreground there are Venetian nobles, dressed in their colorful and exquisite robes. Further in the background there is the Venetian palace, painted by Canaletto with architectural details. The sky is clear, with a few white clouds on the horizon.
The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated. Canaletto created several variations of this painting. The work is exhibited at the National Gallery in London.
