A view of a classical landscape with a particular inner light, painted by Jan Frans van Bloemen, with wayfarers in the foreground on a tree-lined road. Mountains are depicted in the background, and all around the wayfarers is dense vegetation of trees and bushes. The light effect spreads from the centre of the picture right to the back, to the horizon. The morning light illuminates the clear sky with a few clouds on the horizon.
The painting is part of the Bradford Art Galleries and Museums, in West Yorkshire, England.
