Original and rare 18th-century depiction of the Church of Santa Maria Zobenigo, painted by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto. The church stands majestically with its columns and dominates the small square in front of it, which features scenes of daily life. A distinctive feature of the church are the statues, which almost seem to emerge from their niches on the main façade. The bas-reliefs were also finely painted by Canaletto. The morning sun illuminates the courtyard, but there are a few white clouds in the sky. The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated.
