A rare 18th-century engraving of the church of Santa Giustina in Padua, seen from the Prà, by Giovanni Antonio Canal, known as Canaletto. The great meadow stands out, crossed by carriages, travellers and pilgrims to the Santo. On the left side Canaletto paints the church of Santa Giustina and other Paduan buildings. The sky is clear, with a few clouds on the horizon, while the right side is given over to the great meadow. The painting, an oil on canvas, is undated. Canaletto created other variants of this work.
