A satirical map or postcard of early 20th-century Europe created in 1914.
The title of the postcard would be "Hear ye! Hear ye! The dogs are barking!", and indeed there are dogs coming from Eastern countries threatening the Europe of that time. In the upper left corner, there is an English sailor soldier, who manipulates warships as if they were puppets with strings. The map thus shows a divided Europe, before the outbreak of the First World War, and serves as a premonition of what was to happen.

Our reproductions are faithful to the original and printed on fine Amalfi paper.
It is a paper made exclusively from cotton fibers, thick and naturally porous, yet soft to the touch, with characteristic frayed edges that attest to its artisanal craftsmanship.
It is still made today using ancient medieval techniques in the workshops of Amalfi.
