A splendid, luminous Capriccio in vertical format painted by Jan Frans van Bloemen. A large oak dominates the right-hand side of the painting. At the foot of the oak are travellers, and on the hill is a village, separated by a river. Mountains can be glimpsed in the distance. The sky is characterised by shades of blue, white and violet. The painting is in the Baroque style.
The painting is on display at the Accademia di San Luca, Rome.
