A romantic and original 18th-century view of a capriccio of palaces and a loggia facing a classical bridge, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. The drawing, executed in pen and black ink over graphite on two sheets of laid paper joined together, depicts the first palace on the left, connected to the second by a classical Roman-style bridge, with a prominent balustrade. On the right is the loggia, with beautiful arches and columns. The painting is undated.
The painting is exhibited at the William B. O'Neal Fund, National Gallery of Art.
