Romantic and original eighteenth-century capriccio view depicting a palace on the banks of a river, painted by Bernardo Bellotto. Highlighted on the right side there is a Baroque-style two-story palace, with the detail of the sun's shadow halfway down the ground floor. Outside there is a pond with scenes of everyday life, grazing cattle, and knights hunting. The sky is clear, but there are a few clouds on the horizon. In the background there are some blurred mountains. The painting is dated approx. 1766.
