The Adoration of the Shepherds (also known as The Night, as opposed to The Day) is an oil painting on panel datable to around 1525-1530 and held in the Gemäldegalerie in Dresden. It is one of the supreme masterpieces of Correggio's output and one of the most fascinating examples of the nocturne genre in 16th-century Italian art.
