Engraved map of ancient Rome by Giovanni Battista Nolli, taken from a survey published in Rome in 1748 by Francesco Monaco and Carlo Nolli.
The map is a very fine reproduction of the original plan of the City, produced by Leonardo Bufalini and published by Magro Leonardo in May 1551.
All the most important archaeological and historical points of interest in the city are marked with small numbers and correspond to a short description in the legend on the right-hand side of the work.
