How reproductions are made

Welcome to the world of Trizio Editore, where art and history blend with over twenty years of experience and passion. For two decades, we have been dedicated to preserving and disseminating artistic masterpieces through reproductions of the highest quality.

The printing process

Our printing process begins with making several proofs on photographic paper.

This allows us to refine and correct tones and colors until we obtain color fidelity that perfectly reflects the original . Only when we are fully satisfied with the result do we proceed with the final printing on fine Amalfi paper.

The Amalfi map

Amalfi paper represents a fundamental element in our printing process. This paper, handcrafted in the city of Amalfi , boasts a centuries-old tradition that dates back to the 13th century . Made from pure cotton fibers, Amalfi paper is known for its refined texture and durability.

The slightly rough surface and natural finish give the prints a tactile and visual quality that is unmatched. Its resistance and its ability to maintain vivid colors over time make it the ideal choice for our artistic reproductions.

The rest

Subsequently, the ink rest phase occurs. This process consists of letting the ink rest to ensure its durability and resistance over time.

Through advanced techniques such as storage at a certain temperature, the color is absorbed into the paper fibers permanently, ensuring that the beauty of the images remains intact for years.

The handcrafted frames

Each reproduction is embellished with frames handmade by our skilled Tuscan craftsmen. We use exclusively beech wood , expertly crafted to create frames that not only protect, but enhance the work of art. Each frame is a unique piece, a reflection of Tuscan tradition and artisan excellence.

High definition prints

For our HD prints, we use very high definition images, always above 24 MP with at least 600 DPI, which are reproduced with advanced printing technologies. These works are then framed with traditional care and precision, using hand-crafted beech wood and highly polished museum glass, which guarantees unparalleled transparency and protection.

At Trizio Editore, every detail of our production process is designed to offer our customers not just a reproduction, but a complete artistic experience.

Our dedication to quality and artisan tradition makes each work a masterpiece destined to last over time.
